Preamble Terrestrial and aquatic environment play a crucial important role by providing many critical ecosystem goods and services to millions of people in Tanzania, East Africa and across the globe in general. However, these ecosystems face an uncountable of management challenges that are common in Tanzania and across Western Indian Ocean region particularly in East Africa, ranging from over-exploitation, aquatic environmental degradation, conversion to other land uses, pollution and more recently climate change related impacts.Therefore, required an urgently need for establishment of NGOs (Ecosystems Conservation Network), that will help the member of the network, managers, practitioners and other professionals to coordinate and communicate conservation and management policies, strategies and activities countrywide.
